alabaster-column-chandelier-staggered-cascade
Alabaster Column Chandelier, Staggered Cascade, 1–15 Lights

Each light here is a single column of alabaster, turned by hand into one unbroken cylinder rather than assembled from separate parts. It's a slender form, closer to a line than a shade. The stone's natural veining runs through it in a pattern that's never quite the same twice. Every column hangs from its own cord off a shared brass canopy. From a distance the group reads as a cluster of individual lines, rather than one solid object. Lit, the alabaster glows evenly along its whole length, since the light source is built into the column itself.

Every cord starts at the same length. It's trimmed on site to a different length for each column. That's what settles the group into a staggered, almost spiral fall, rather than a flat row. There's no bulb to fit or replace here: the LED is built into the stone and isn't a separate, swappable part. Configurations run from a single column up to a fifteen-column display, in black or brass hardware. The scale can match anything from a bedside drop to a full stairwell.

The LED is built into each column, so there's no bulb to buy, fit, or ever swap.

Slender columns of hand-turned natural alabaster stone

Cords trim to different lengths for a staggered cascade

From a single column up to a fifteen-column display

Integrated LED glows warm white, no bulb to replace

There's no bulb, so there's no upkeep

The light source is sealed into the alabaster column itself, not screwed into a socket you can reach. That means there's nothing to buy or replace over the life of the fixture. But it also means the whole column is the part, not a shade around a swappable bulb. If a column's light ever fails, it isn't a five-minute fix the way changing a bulb would be. It's the trade-off for a single, unbroken form with nothing visibly mechanical about it.

Dimming isn't guaranteed with every switch

It runs on a standard push-button switch by default, which is the simplest way to use it. Dimming is possible, but only with a compatible LED wall dimmer, and not every dimmer model is guaranteed to work smoothly with it. If a dimmed, adjustable glow matters to you, it's worth settling the switch before the column, not after. On the standard push-button switch alone, you get one consistent brightness rather than a range.

Available finishes

Brass & White

Black & White

Specifications

Dimensions, 1 Light

Dia. 6 cm × H 30 cm (2.4″ × H 11.8″)

Dimensions, 2 Lights

Dia. 15 cm × H 150 cm (5.9″ × H 59.1″)

Dimensions, 3 Lights

Dia. 30 cm × H 150 cm (11.8″ × H 59.1″)

Dimensions, 6 Lights

Dia. 40 cm × H 200 cm (15.7″ × H 78.7″)

Dimensions, 10 Lights

Dia. 40 cm × H 300 cm (15.7″ × H 118.1″)

Dimensions, 12 Lights

Dia. 50 cm × H 320 cm (19.7″ × H 126″)

Dimensions, 15 Lights

Dia. 50 cm × H 350 cm (19.7″ × H 137.8″)

Product type

Multi-Drop Alabaster Column Chandelier, Staggered Cascade, 7 light-count options

Material

Natural Alabaster (columns, hand-cut and hand-polished), brass (canopy and hardware)

Size options

1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 12, or 15 columns (see Dimensions for footprint per configuration)

Cord length

150 cm (59″ per column, trimmable on site to different lengths to create the staggered cascade)

Light source

integrated LED, Warm White

Power

Max 40 W

Voltage

AC 110–240 V

Control

Push-button switch; dimmable only with a compatible LED wall dimmer, not guaranteed with every dimmer model

Included bulb

LED is integrated and non-replaceable — there is no bulb to buy, fit, or swap

Mounting

Ceiling, hardwired to a standard junction box

Environment

Indoor only, IP20

Suitable spaces

Stairwell, multi-story foyer or atrium, dining table, kitchen island, bedside

Dimensions, Cord Length (per column)

150 cm (59″, trimmable on site)

Dimensions, Canopy

Round brushed brass canopy

Frequently asked questions

What is this chandelier made from?
Each column is a single, unbroken cylinder of hand-cut, hand-polished natural alabaster, hung on its own cord from a shared brushed brass canopy.
