alabaster-grid-ceiling-light-antique-brass-flush-mount
Alabaster Grid Ceiling Light, Antique Brass Flush Mount, 40 to 60 cm

A grid pattern across pale alabaster gives this ceiling light a quiet texture, and antique brass hardware sets a warm metal against the cool stone. It sits flush, so the shade reads as one disc close to the ceiling rather than a fitting hanging from it. Lit, the stone glows softly from within. Unlit, it still looks like stone and not like a plain shade.

The three diameters change how much ceiling it takes: 40, 50 or 60 cm. Four, five or six E27 bulbs sit inside as the size goes up. Alabaster is natural, so the veining differs from one piece to the next and yours will not match the photographs exactly. Bulbs are not included, which leaves the colour of the light to you.

It mounts flush and is hardwired, so the shade sits close to the ceiling.

Grid-patterned alabaster shade, with stone patterns unique to each

Antique brass hardware, a warm metal against pale stone

Flush ceiling mount, hardwired for a clean finish

Three diameters to match bedroom or living room scale

Every stone has its own pattern

Alabaster veins differently in every piece, so the shade you receive will not copy the one in the photographs. The grid and the brass hardware stay consistent from one to the next. If you want parts that match like pressed metal, natural stone is not how you get it. If you want a surface with its own character, it is.

The bulb count grows with the size

The smallest size takes four E27 bulbs, the middle five and the largest six. A bigger shade also gives you more light to work with. No bulbs are supplied. You choose their colour and brightness, and when one fails you change a bulb rather than the fitting.

Specifications

Dimensions, 40 x 42 cm

Dia. 40 cm × H 42 cm (15.7″ × H 16.5″)

Dimensions, 50 x 45 cm

Dia. 50 cm × H 45 cm (19.7″ × H 17.7″)

Dimensions, 60 x 50 cm

Dia. 60 cm × H 50 cm (23.6″ × H 19.7″)

Type

Ceiling light

Material

Brass, alabaster

Bulbs

4 × E27 (Dia. 40 cm), 5 × E27 (Dia. 50 cm), 6 × E27 (Dia. 60 cm)

Environment

Indoor

Body colour

Antique brass

Shade colour

White

Natural stone

Alabaster veining varies from piece to piece, so yours will not match the photos exactly

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of this light?
Three sizes available: 15.7″ diameter × 16.5″ height (40cm × 42cm), 19.7″ diameter × 17.7″ height (50cm × 45cm), or 23.6″ diameter × 19.7″ height (60cm × 50cm).

What style is this light?
Vintage and antique-inspired retro style.

Which rooms is this ceiling light suitable for?
Bedrooms, bedside areas, and living rooms.
