brass-ceiling-light-frosted-glass-globe
Brass Ceiling Light, Frosted Glass Globe, Ceiling or Wall Mount

A star of brass rods reaches out from a small central base to a single frosted glass globe at the centre. The fixture reads as much like a piece of metalwork as a light. The globe measures about 40 cm across, small enough to sit close to the ceiling without dominating the room below it. Frosted glass hides the bulb inside, so what you see lit is an even glow rather than a bright point.

The same fixture mounts flush to a ceiling, or fits directly to a wall. That flexibility is the real design decision here, not a size or a colour. On a ceiling, the rods fan out flat overhead. On a wall, the same star shape projects outward at eye level instead, changing how directly you see the brass. A single bulb runs the whole thing, so the light output stays identical whichever way you mount it.

It hardwires in and runs off the wall switch already there, whether it is fitted to the ceiling or the wall.

Brass rods radiate outward from the base in a gold finish

Frosted white glass globe diffuses a soft, glare-free light

Mounts flush to the ceiling or fits a wall instead

Rods fan outward in a star-like, architectural silhouette

One bulb, not included

A single G9 capsule bulb runs this fixture, and none comes in the box. You will need to source one before it can be switched on. G9 is a small bi-pin base, different from the larger screw fittings most ceiling lights use. It is worth checking what you already have on hand. Once it is in, replacing it later is a simple swap rather than a call to an electrician.

Ceiling or wall, your choice

This is genuinely one fixture with two mounting points, not two separate products. The same brass star and frosted globe work flush on a ceiling, or projecting from a wall. That makes it useful in places a standard pendant cannot go: low landings, stairwells, or a bedroom wall. A hanging light would be in the way there instead. Decide the mounting before the electrician wires the point, since ceiling and wall boxes are not always interchangeable.

Specifications

Dimensions

Dia. 39.9 cm × H 18 cm (15.7″ × H 7.1″)

Materials

Metal · Brass · Glass

Light source

G9 base · 1 bulb (not included)

Voltage

AC 110–240 V

Control

Wall switch (not included)

Wiring

Hardwired

Mounting

Ceiling or wall

Body finish

Brass (gold)

Glass

White frosted

Free shipping on every order.
