brass-wall-light-double-ribbed-glass-shades
Brass Wall Light, Double Ribbed Glass Shades, Wall Sconce, 70 cm

Two clear glass cylinders hang one above the other from a bent brass frame, each with a fine vertical rib. Small circular brass accents punctuate the frame, and the brass is polished. The result is a slender, vertical fixture with clean lines and a few gentle curves, and nothing ornate about it. The glass is clear, so the bulb shows through.

It is a wall lamp, wired in rather than plugged in. The backplate is narrow, so it may not cover a standard junction box. A slim box gives the neatest fit, with no gaps at the sides. That narrowness is also the point: it fits a strip of wall beside a bed, in a hallway or at an entry.

It is hardwired to the wall and takes a G9 bulb, which is not supplied.

Polished brass frame — circular accents add a quiet, classic detail

Ribbed clear glass tubes — a fine vertical pattern in the light

70 cm tall and slim, 17 cm across — suits narrow wall spaces

Two glass shades in one fixture for bedside, hallway or entry

A slim box gives the neatest fit

The backplate is narrow, so it may not cover a standard wall junction box, and gaps can show at the sides. Fitting a slim junction box is how you get a clean edge against the wall. It is worth settling the box before the lamp goes up, because that decides how neatly the fixture finishes.

You choose the bulb

It takes a G9 bulb and none is supplied, so you set the colour of the light yourself. When a bulb fails you change the bulb, not the lamp. The two clear glass shades show what is inside them, so it is worth choosing a bulb you like the look of.

Specifications

Dimensions

Dia. 17 cm × H 70 cm (6.7″ × H 27.6″)

Type

Wall lamp

Material

Brass, glass

Environment

Indoor

Finish

Polished brass

Shade colour

Clear

Note

The backplate is narrow, so it may not cover a standard wall junction box; a slim box gives the neatest fit with no gaps at the sides.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of this wall light?
This light measures 17 cm diameter by 70 cm height (6.7″ wide by 27.6″ high).

What materials is this wall light made from?
It is made from brass with a polished brass finish and clear glass shades.

What style is this wall light?
This is a minimalist wall light with bent brass tubes and slender cylindrical glass shades, combining clean lines and gentle curves.

Free shipping on every order.
