ceiling-light-copper-frame-glass-disks
Copper Frame Ceiling Light with Glass Disks, Single Light

The disks are the fixture, and there is nothing textured or patterned about them. It is smooth white glass, set inside a copper-finished frame that shows at the edge rather than across the face. At the base size, the fixture measures 39.9 cm across and 23.1 cm deep (15.7″ × 9.1″). So it sits proud of the ceiling rather than flush against it. The copper reads as a warm line around a pale, even surface, which is most of what you notice before it is switched on.

Size here is really a decision about how many bulbs the fixture runs. The 40 cm version takes five E14 bulbs. The 50 cm version takes six. The 60 cm version takes eight. A bigger disk is not just a bigger shape on the ceiling, it is genuinely more light. So the size to choose depends on how much of the room this one fixture is meant to carry.

Each socket is rated at 15 W, so the total draw depends on how many bulbs the chosen size uses.

Oversized smooth glass disks set within a copper-finished frame

Available in three ceiling diameters: 40 cm, 50 cm or 60 cm

Hardwired ceiling mount pairs with a standard wall switch

Weighs 5 kg (11 lbs), hardwired for ceiling mounting

Bigger means more bulbs

Going up in size changes more than the diameter. The 40 cm fixture takes five E14 bulbs, the 50 cm takes six, and the 60 cm takes eight. Choose LED or Edison-style bulbs for any of them, since the base type is the same across all three sizes. More sockets means the largest version can genuinely light a bigger stretch of ceiling, not just cover more of it visually.

It runs off your existing switch

The fixture is hardwired to the ceiling and wired through to an external wall switch. Turning it on and off does not need a plug, remote or app. Any ordinary wall switch does the job; nothing proprietary is needed. At 5 kg (11 lb), it is light enough for a standard ceiling box to carry without extra bracing.

Specifications

Dimensions

Dia. 39.9 cm × H 23.1 cm (15.7″ × H 9.1″)

Material

metal, glass

Light source

LED bulb or Edison bulb

Light source base type

E14 (as shown below)

Power

15 W (single light)

Voltage

AC 110–240 V

Mounting

Ceiling

Environment

Indoor

Weight

5 kg / 5 kg (11 lb)

Battery

No

Driver required

No

Finishes

Copper

Glass colour

White

Wiring

Hardwired.

Control

Compatible with common wall switches (not included).

Switch

This switch should be connected to an external wall light switch, allowing for a controlled electricity supply.

Frequently asked questions

What are the exact dimensions of this ceiling light?
Three sizes available: 40cm diameter × 23cm height (15.7″ × 9.1″); 50cm diameter × 23cm height (19.7″ × 9.1″); or 60cm diameter × 23cm height (23.6″ × 9.1″).

Is this light hardwired or plug-in?
Hardwired to ceiling.
