cloud-shaped-fabric-pendant-light-creased-texture
Cloud-Shaped Fabric Pendant Light, Creased Texture, 30 to 90 cm

The shade is fabric, not glass or metal, stretched taut over an iron frame until it holds a rounded, cloud-like puff. Creases show in the fabric before it is installed. That is the making process at work, not a flaw to hide. Cotton and silk fibre take a crease the way stitched fabric always does. Once it is up, those same creases even out the light rather than showing as wrinkles.

Model A and Model B are not the same shape scaled differently. Each holds its own proportions at every size step. So the shape decision and the size decision are two separate choices, not one. A smaller size in either model reads as a single soft accent. Step up toward the largest sizes, and it becomes closer to a centrepiece a room is arranged around.

It hardwires to the ceiling and hangs from a 149.9 cm (59″) cable, adjustable at installation.

Puffy cloud silhouette sewn from cotton and silk fiber over iron

Creased fabric texture softens and evens the light once lit

Seven sizes run 11.8″ to 35.4″ across, each in two model shapes

59″ hardwired cable sets the hang, lengthened as needed

The creases are part of the making

Creases in the fabric are visible before installation. That is the sewing and stretching process at work, not a defect to send back. Cotton and silk fibre take a crease naturally. Once the shade is lit, those same creases even out the glow rather than casting hard shadows. What looks slightly uneven in the box settles into the fixture's whole point once it is hung and switched on.

Shape and size are separate choices

Model A and Model B hold different proportions at the same nominal size. Picking a model is not the same decision as picking how big the shade is. Seven sizes exist for each model, from a compact accent to a size built to anchor a room on its own. Deciding the model first, then the size, is the more useful order, since shape changes the character more than size does.

Specifications

Dimensions, Model A

Dia. 30 cm × H 20.1 cm (11.8″ × H 7.9″)

Dimensions, Model B

Dia. 50 cm × H 23.9 cm (19.7″ × H 9.4″)

Material

iron, metal, PVC, Cotton, Fiber silk

Light source

LED bulb or Edison bulb

Light source base type

E26 or E27

Voltage

AC 110–240 V

Mounting

Ceiling

Body finishes

White

Shade finishes

White

Wiring

Hardwired

Control

Compatible with common wall switches (not included). 149.9 cm (59″) Adjustable hanging height cable, which can be lengthened as required

Best for

Children's bedrooms, playrooms, living rooms and dining areas where a whimsical, calming focal point suits the décor.

Hardwired, adjustable drop

Free shipping on every order.
