cylinder-wall-light-up-down-light-wall-sconce
Cylinder Wall Light, Up and Down Light, Wall Sconce, 12.5 cm

Light leaves a small metal cylinder in two directions, up the wall and down it. The shade is white acrylic and the body is metal. The fitting is 12.5 cm (4.9″) across and 8.5 cm (3.3″) tall. It reads as a compact shape, with a band of glow above it and another below it on the wall.

The lamp hangs on an adjustable cable, and the cable decides how far it drops. Two things change the lamp itself: the finish, brass or black, and the light, warm at 3000 K or cool at 6000 K. Warm gives a softer, yellower glow, and cool gives a whiter one. Both sit in the same small cylinder.

It throws light both up and down the wall from one small cylinder.

Upward and downward light along the wall

Adjustable cable sets how far the lamp drops

White shade on a metal and acrylic body

Fits over tables, in voids or along hallways

The cable sets the drop

The cable is adjustable, so you set how far the cylinder hangs instead of living with one fixed length. Over a dining or side surface a longer drop brings the light down to where it is used. In a hallway you can keep it short and close to the wall. The cylinder is the same size either way.

Light goes up and down at once

One lamp lights the wall above it as well as the space below. That is why it suits voids and hallways, where a lamp that only points down would leave the wall dark. Pick the 3000 K version for a warm glow or the 6000 K version for a cool white one.

Available finishes

Brass

Black

Specifications

Dimensions

Dia. 12.5 cm × H 8.5 cm (4.9″ × H 3.3″)

Material

Metal, acrylic

Colour temperature

3000 K, 6000 K

Type

Wall lamp

Environment

Indoor

Body colour

Brass, Black

Shade colour

White

Frequently asked questions

What size is it?
It measures 12.5 cm (4.9″) across and 8.5 cm (3.3″) tall, so it is a compact wall light.

Which light colour can I choose?
Warm Light at 3000 K or Cool Light at 6000 K.
