Light breaks up as it passes through the ridges, and the shadow it throws on the wall behind becomes part of the fixture. The brass keeps the whole piece warm in tone.

The leaves are clear rather than tinted, so what you see depends on the bulb behind them. It takes G9 bulbs, which are not included, so you set the colour of the light. This sconce is made in one size, and its length, width and height are in the specifications. It is one size and one brass finish.

It is hardwired to the wall and works with a common wall switch.

10 textured glass leaves, each patterned like a feather

Solid brass frame in a warm brass finish

Textured glass diffuses light into a soft, atmospheric glow

Damp-rated IP20 — fits well-ventilated bathrooms beside a mirror

The texture does the diffusing

Because the glass is clear, the feather pattern is what softens the bulb into a glow. Each of the ten leaves is patterned, so the sconce still has something to show when it is switched off. That matters, because most hours of the day a wall light is unlit.

Bulbs are yours to choose

The fitting takes G9 bulbs and none are supplied, so you buy the bulb you want. That is a choice handed to you. You pick the warmth of the light, and when a bulb fails you change the bulb rather than the sconce.
