wall-light-alabaster-bowl-stacked-spheres
Wall Light, Alabaster Bowl & Stacked Spheres, Wall Sconce, 28 cm

The shade faces upward rather than down: a wide alabaster bowl catches light instead of hiding its veining against the wall. A slim two-rod arm carries it out from a rectangular backplate, level and simple. Below that arm, stone spheres narrow as they drop, cut from the same material as the bowl above. Thin metal discs separate them, and a small ball finishes the tip.

It comes in one size, so the only real decision is metal: brushed brass, brushed nickel, or matte black. That choice runs through the backplate, the arm, and the metal discs between the spheres, not just the bowl's mount. Brass and nickel both catch the light with a slight sheen; black recedes and lets the stone do the talking. None of the three change the bowl or the spheres, since the stone is the one constant the metal sits around.

It's hardwired into the wall, not plugged into a socket.

Upward-facing alabaster bowl diffuses light through natural veining

Two stacked alabaster spheres taper below the mounting arm

Rectangular backplate holds a parallel two-rod wall arm

Metal hardware comes in brushed brass, nickel, or matte black

Any bulb fits, not one brand

The socket is a standard E26 or E27 fitting, so you aren't locked into one bulb shape or brand. That means you can choose a warmer or cooler light to suit the room. And if it ever fails, you replace a bulb, not the whole fixture. The exact base type is in the specifications.

The spheres won't quite match

Both spheres are cut from natural alabaster, and no two pieces of that stone carry identical veining. Expect the lower sphere to read slightly differently from the one above it, in tone or in the pattern running through it. That's the nature of a real mineral, not a flaw in the piece you receive. If you want two sconces side by side, treat the stone as an individual detail on each one.

Available finishes

Brass

Nickel

Black

Specifications

Dimensions

W 15 cm × H 27.9 cm (W 5.9″ × H 11″)

Product type

Wall Sconce (bowl uplight shade, graduated ball stem, 3 hardware finishes)

Material

brass Hardware, Natural Alabaster Bowl Shade and Spheres

Finish options

Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black

Overall size

W15 × height 28 cm / W15 cm (5.9″) × H27.9 cm (11.0″), 20 cm (7.9″ wall projection)

Socket type

E26 or E27 (regional)

Mounting

Wall-Mounted, Hardwired

Environment

Indoor

Suitable spaces

Hallway, bedside, dining room, entryway

Dimensions, Overall Fixture

W15 × height 28 cm (W5.9″ × H11.0″)

Dimensions, Wall Projection

20 cm (7.9″)

Dimensions, Lights

1 × upward-facing alabaster bowl shade

Finishes

Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black

Frequently asked questions

How big is it, and how far does it stand out from the wall?
It is W 15 × H 28 cm (W 5.9 × H 11.0″) and projects 20 cm (7.9″) from the wall.

What bulb does it use?
It takes one E26 or E27 bulb, depending on your region.

What is it made from, and which finishes can I choose?
A wide, upward-facing natural alabaster bowl shade on a two-rod arm from a rectangular backplate.
