wooden-disc-pendant-lamp-walnut-wood-metal-roping
Wooden Disc Pendant Lamp, Walnut Wood, Metal Roping, 30 cm

At 30 cm (11.8″) across and 15 cm (5.9″) tall, this is a small fixture. It is built to hang low and close, rather than command a whole ceiling. The discs are threaded on slim metal wire rather than mounted on a solid stem, which is what gives the cluster its light, unfixed look. It takes a GU10 bulb rather than a screw-base one. That means the light source sits small and hidden among the discs, rather than showing as a single bright point.

The real choice is tone. Natural wood keeps the discs pale and light against a ceiling, while walnut reads darker and warmer, closer to furniture-grade wood than a typical fixture. Both versions handle a sloped ceiling as well as a flat one, up to a 30° pitch. The finish is the decision to make, not where you can hang it.

It hardwires to the ceiling and runs on a GU10 bulb through a standard wall switch.

Wooden discs catch and reflect light in a soft waterfall pattern.

Suspended from slender metal roping for a light, airy look.

Available in natural wood or richer walnut wood tones.

Compact 30 × 15 cm profile adapts to ceilings sloped up to 30°.

The cable sets your height

The hanging cable is supplied at 149.9 cm (59″), and it is meant to be adjusted on site rather than left at that length. That is what lets the same fixture sit low over a table in one room and higher where the ceiling allows more clearance in another. Getting the drop right matters more with a layered shade like this, since too high and the disc pattern reads flat from below.

It wires in, not plugs in

This pendant is hardwired rather than fitted with a plug, so it connects directly into your ceiling wiring during installation. A standard wall switch controls it, though the switch itself is not included and needs to already be there or be added. That makes it a fixture to plan for at the wiring stage, not something you can simply hang and switch on.

Available finishes

Nature wood

Walnut wood

Specifications

Dimensions

Dia. 30 cm × H 15 cm (11.8″ × H 5.9″)

Material

metal, wood.

Light source

LED bulb or Edison bulb.

Light source base type

GU10.

Voltage

AC 110–240 V

Mounting

Ceiling

Moisture resistance

IP 20 Damp-rated, It is generally suitable for indoor use where it can't be exposed to moisture.

Environment

Indoor.

Body finishes

Nature wood, Walnut wood.

Shade finishes

Nature wood, Walnut wood.

Wiring

Hardwired.

Installation

Sloped ceiling compatible (Sloped Ceiling Adaptable<30°)

Control

Compatible with common wall switches (not included).

Switch

This switch should be connected to an external wall light switch, allowing for a controlled electricity supply.

Cord

149.9 cm (59″) Adjustable hanging height cable, which can be lengthened as required.

Frequently asked questions

What are the exact dimensions of this pendant lamp?
This pendant measures ∅ 11.8″ diameter × H 5.9″ tall.
