You want a ceiling piece that holds a tall room without shouting for attention. This one is a halo of natural stone, lit from inside so the light comes through the material itself. What you notice is the glow, not the fitting.

  • Stone set in segments — each ring is built from calcite pieces laid edge to edge, and the joints show as fine vertical lines.
  • Light through the stone — the glow rises through the veining, not from a bulb you can see.
  • Slender suspension — the rings hang on fine steel cables from a small round brass-toned canopy.

Calcite, a stone that light passes through

Calcite is translucent: light enters the stone instead of stopping at its surface. That is why the veining reads so clearly when lit. Each segment carries its own drift of ivory and warm amber, so the pattern shifts as it travels round the ring. The outer face is polished, so the ring reads as one smooth band from a few paces back.

 

Fit and placement

The canopy fixes flat against the ceiling. Give the fixture real height underneath: one tier suits a dining table, two or three a stairwell.

Which colour temperature should I choose?
The three options are in the specifications. Warm white is the softest; neutral and cool read progressively crisper. Match it to the other fixtures in the room.

What does it look like switched off?
Unlit, the rings read as pale ivory stone with soft tan veining. The cloudy pattern stays; it simply loses the glow from inside.

Will my chandelier look exactly like the photographs?
Calcite is a natural stone, so veining and tone vary from ring to ring and from the photographs. That variation is the material, not a flaw.
