A single block of alabaster, cut square and lit from within, hanging off a slim matte black stem. The stone is thick enough to hold its own colour: light leaves it warm and low rather than bright, and the veining reads through the surface the way it does in the raw material. The small shade measures 12 cm (4.7″) across, so it clears a bedside table without crowding it. The large runs 25 cm (9.8″) and carries a wide flat disc above the stone, which gives it the presence to hold a kitchen island or the turn of a hallway.
What makes it work
Before you order
The shade takes one G9 bulb and none is supplied; a warm-toned G9 suits the stone best. The fitting is hardwired and rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection at all, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms rather than a bathroom or a covered porch. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

No. Each pendant takes one G9 bulb, sold separately, and a warm-toned one shows the stone at its best.
How far down does it hang?
The cord runs 200 cm (78.7″) and is shortened at installation. Over a bedside table the shade usually sits 60 to 70 cm (23.6 to 27.6″) above the surface; over a kitchen island, 75 to 90 cm (29.5 to 35.4″) above the worktop.
Can it go in a bathroom?
No. IP20 carries no protection against moisture, so keep it to dry rooms away from steam.
Will my shade look like the photograph?
Close, not identical. Alabaster is quarried stone and every slab veins differently, so the pattern that reaches you is its own.
