Two rings of natural alabaster, carved to interlock like the links of a chain, hang on tan leather straps from three brass ceiling canopies. Unlit, the stone reads as pale cream with amber veining running through it — quarried, solid, matte to the hand. Lit, the integrated LED works the rings from within and the veining turns translucent and gold wherever the stone runs thin. It spans 108 cm (42.5″) and drops 120 cm (47.2″) from the ceiling to the lowest edge of the stone, so it carries a dining table or an open stairwell on its own, and the light it throws is a soft, even wash rather than a hard beam pointed down at the table.
What makes it work
-
Two interlocking alabaster rings — quarried stone, cut and polished ring by ring, so the veining that reaches you belongs to your fixture and to no other.
-
Leather straps and brass canopies — the stone hangs on genuine tan leather instead of rod or chain, which keeps the hardware soft and leaves the rings as the only heavy thing in the room.
-
Integrated LED, warm or cool — the light source is built in, so there is no bulb to buy and no socket to match. Pick Warm Light or Cool Light and it arrives ready to wire.
Natural stone, not a printed pattern
Alabaster is quarried, not manufactured. One pair of rings can come through almost plain cream, the next with heavy caramel veining running across the face — same stone, same warm tone, a different pattern each time. That is what stops the fixture looking moulded, and it is why yours will not match anyone else's.
Light and dimming
Choose Warm Light or Cool Light before you order; the LED is integrated, so the tone is settled at that point. The driver supplied as standard is not compatible with wall dimmer switches, so the fixture runs at one level. If the room is already on a dimmer, put this one on a standard switch instead.
Installation
The fixture is hardwired, and it hangs from three brass ceiling canopies rather than one, so mark all three positions before you drill — they set how the two rings sit against each other. Stone at this span wants a joist or a rated ceiling brace behind each canopy rather than plasterboard alone. Over a dining table, aim for 76 to 91 cm (30 to 36″) between the tabletop and the lowest edge of the stone. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions
How many ceiling fixings does it need?
Three. Each leather strap runs up to its own brass canopy, and the three points together hold the rings in position.
Can I dim it?
No. The LED is integrated and the standard driver will not work with a wall dimmer switch, so wire it to a standard switch and it runs at one level.
Will the alabaster look exactly like the photographs?
Close, but never identical. The stone is quarried, so your pair of rings carries its own veining in the same warm cream and caramel.
Can it go in a bathroom or under a covered porch?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no protection against moisture, so keep it indoors and clear of steam.
