A pendant light with the presence of a sculpture. This pendant light hangs opal glass from a single iron arch, one leg ending in a solid ball, the other dropping long. Most pendants disappear into a ceiling. This one is the thing people look up at and ask about.

An iron arch with one short leg and one long

  • One smooth bend — the arch turns in a single radius, with no mitred corner.
  • Solid ball — an iron sphere finishes the short leg, the one closed form among the glass.
  • Collared joint — a short collar breaks the drop rod just above the arch, low on a bare run.
  • Capped globes — every globe is collared top and bottom in black iron, ending in a short tail below.

Matte black iron against opal glass

The frame is iron, finished matte black so it recedes rather than competes. The line runs from the ceiling through the arch to the tail below the last globe. Against that hard line the glass is all soft round.

Fit and placement

Every size hangs from one round ceiling plate. On Size C that plate carries two rods, so both arms work from one fixing point. Each size is listed separately in the specifications — read them against your space.
