Every diamond sits on the outer wall; the inner wall stays plain white. A white inner wall reflects light rather than absorbing it. Hard highlights along the saucer mark a glassy glaze, not a matte one.

Fit and placement

The fixture hangs from a slim cord, with a short chrome stem where the cord meets the top of the saucer. Put it beside a bed, above a narrow console, or as a matched pair either side of a headboard. Each one needs its own ceiling point, and an electrician makes the final connection with the power off.
