One bright fixture over a dining table gives you a spotlight, not an atmosphere. This one works the other way — slim curved arms, glass globes, nothing that glares. It reads as a low quiet line rather than a centrepiece. Switch it on and the room settles.

Two curved arms cross a single straight bar

  • Globes step inward — On each side, the globes step up in height from the bar's tip towards the middle.
  • One straight bar — A single horizontal bar runs end to end and carries a globe at each tip.
  • Two arms, two radii — Two curved arms of different radii dip below the bar and cross it, each carrying a globe at either end.
  • An off-centre collar — One arm meets the bar at a collar a quarter of the way along, not at the centre, so the halves do not mirror.

The rod runs past the bar to meet the arms

The single downrod does not stop where the horizontal bar crosses it. It carries on below and meets the curved arms at their lowest point, tying rod, bar and arms into one frame. Every joint is a smooth swept curve, with no brackets on show.

Fit and placement

The wiring is listed in the specifications, so have a qualified electrician make the connection. Centre it over a dining table or a long seating group, with the bar parallel to the table's long edge.
