Some corners need a light and a surface, and only have room for one thing. This is that one thing. A slim arc carries the shade overhead, and two round tiers stand below it. Your phone, your cup and whatever you're reading all land in one place.

The shade hangs on a cable, not on the arm itself

  • Arc arm — the pole rises straight, bends overhead, and finishes in a black ferrule with a bare cable dropping from it.
  • Cone and collar — at the cable's end a slim cone widens downwards to a narrow gold-toned collar, and the shade sits beneath.
  • Ombre glass shade — a rounded bowl in glossy glass, golden yellow across the crown and deep orange at the rim.
  • Two wood tiers — a lighter caramel top over a darker espresso one, carried on a splayed frame of slim tubes.

Every part of it is round

Look at the silhouette and there is not a straight edge in it beyond the tubes themselves. The shade is a bowl, both tiers are discs, and the drum at floor level is a cylinder. It stands on its own small feet between the legs. Wood, glass and the bronze-brown frame sit in one warm range, with no applied ornament.

Fit and placement

This is a plug-in floor lamp, not a hardwired fixture. Switch it on at the push button set into the cord. The pole carries its own curved foot and the tiers stand on splayed legs, so the piece is free-standing.

Do I still need a side table next to it?
No. The upper tier holds a phone, a plant or a cup, and the lower tier takes what will not fit.

What goes in the drum at the bottom?
Flat things that clutter a side table. It is open at the top and deep enough to stand magazines or a few books upright.

Does the glass glow, or does the light only fall downwards?
Both. The bottom rim is open, and the glass itself lights up warm across the crown and sides.
