This fitting breaks that up. Arms branch from a central hub and carry flat lit discs at deliberately different heights, so the light arrives from several points at once and objects underneath stop casting a single hard shadow. The discs are shallow and the arms are slim, so from below it reads as a drawing rather than a fixture. Green, white or grey, in four, five or six heads.

White and grey disappear into a plain ceiling, which is sometimes exactly right. The green makes the fitting the thing you notice on entering, and it is the reason this design exists.

Asymmetry is deliberate

The arms are not evenly spaced or level. Fitted square to the room it looks wrong; rotated so the spread reads as organic, it works.
