The lightweight steel frame is built to hold its shape under tension, creating the geometric crisscross pattern that gives off such a soft ambient glow, especially when hung in a cluster.
About the silk: texture and wrinkles are normal
The fine mesh-like texture across the surface and the subtle “wrinkles” come from stretching premium silk over the geometric steel frame. They are a natural characteristic of the material and the design, not quality flaws. That silk cover is exactly what gives you such soft light diffusion and a refined finish.

Every size comes in White, in metal and silk, with an E26/E27 base and hardwired fitting. The number of bulbs you need changes with the size.

Bulb and light source
Takes standard E26 or E27 base bulbs. The three smaller sizes (Dia. 15.7″ to 23.6″) need 3 bulbs each; the 31.4″ size needs 5. A warm Edison filament or LED bulb (2700K) is recommended, since the soft glow through the silk creates an especially warm, refined light. Bulbs are not included.
