Some chandeliers shout for attention. The Auren settles a room instead. Its wide, shallow shades sit at different levels around one slender rod, so the silhouette shifts as you move. You notice the shape first and the light second.

Shades set at three different heights

  • Stepped heights — one shade sits highest on the rod, a second hangs just below it, and the outer two are level at the lowest point.
  • Straight arms — each outer shade rides a straight, level arm that leaves the rod on a low curve and turns a sharp corner.
  • Ball finials — a small sphere caps each arm where it lands on the shade’s crown.
  • Milky hemispheres — one sits at the centre of each shade’s underside, covering the light and softening it.

A shallow dome that thins to a fine lip

Each shade is a broad, low dome, its edge tapered to a thin lip rather than a rolled hem. Everything around it runs straight, so the dome carries the whole curve. The result reads as drawn, not decorated.

Fit and placement

A flat, round canopy sits tight to the ceiling, and one straight rod carries the shades below it. The overall height in the specifications is the drop from that ceiling. Leave room at the sides as well as underneath — the outer shades reach furthest and hang lowest. Over a long table, line the arms up with its length.
