Look up, and this reads less like a lampshade than a cloud caught mid-drift. Six soft panels curve outward below a turned wood collar, rounding off every angle the light touches. Hang it over a table set for tea or conversation, and the room settles the moment it switches on.

A cloud-shaped shade built from six curved panels

  • Radial panels — each of the six panels bows outward on its own, so one reads narrow head-on and full in profile.
  • Piped seams — a fine piping runs down every seam, drawing a quiet outline around each panel when the lamp is lit.
  • Walnut collar — a turned walnut collar joins the cord to the top of the shade and warms the metal around it.
  • Ball drop — a turned ball finishes the slim brass rod below the shade, matched by the canopy at the ceiling.

A shade that changes shape as you move

The beige fabric spreads the light into a soft, even wash rather than one hot point. A flat disc closes the underside, so what reaches the table below is a wide circle of light. Walk around the lamp and the silhouette shifts with you, lit or unlit.
