Some rooms need one clear note of colour, not a redesign. This pendant is that note. Two solid tones sit one above the other, cheerful from the doorway and neatly made up close. It gives a plain ceiling something to say, and takes up almost nothing to do it.

Two shells and a ring, stacked like a macaron

  • A collar at the waist — the cream ring stands proud of both shells and throws a shadow line under itself.
  • An open bowl — nothing covers the bottom, so the light drops straight onto whatever sits below.
  • Shells that stay solid — switched on, the colour holds flat and opaque, and the light leaves through the mouth alone.
  • Set back from the rim — the bulb sits high inside the bowl rather than below its edge.

Matte colour, not gloss

Every shell is finished matte, closer to a paint swatch than a toy. It keeps a bright yellow or a deep green from turning loud. Pick a pastel pairing for a quiet accent, or a darker one and let the fixture hold the room on its own.

Fit and placement

It fixes flat to the ceiling and hangs on a single black cord. That cord is adjustable, so you set the drop as you fit it. Hang it where you want the light to land.
