Some pendants light a room. This one softens it. A single moulded shell swells into a ring of scalloped lobes, wide and shallow, like a bloom caught at full open. Hang it low over a bed, a dining table or a reading corner.

A single moulded shell that rolls into scalloped lobes

  • One continuous form — the shell swells into soft lobes at the rim, then rolls underneath into creases that sweep in to a centre point.
  • Gold centre medallion — a small scalloped disc finishes the middle of the underside, the one warm-metal note on the fixture.
  • Three-wire suspension — fine wires drop from a low, round ceiling plate in brushed silver-grey, so the shade appears to float.
  • Two light settings — Warm Light for a fixed glow, or Triac Warm Dimming to take it lower on a Triac dimmer switch, sold separately.

Warmest at the centre, softest at the rim

Switched on, the shell does not light flatly, and that is what makes it worth looking up at. The glow gathers beneath the centre of the bloom and thins through each lobe toward the scalloped edge. A little escapes upward to lift the ceiling too.

Fit and placement

It fixes to the ceiling on a single point. The round plate covers the outlet, and the three wires carry the shade down from there. Indoors only. Measure your ceiling against the dimensions before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Does it look the same when the light is off?
No. Unlit, the shell reads plain and cool, and by day it sits quietly against a pale ceiling. Switched on, the whole shape warms through to cream.

Is the surface textured?
No. It is smooth right across. The lines you can see are rolled creases moulded into the shell itself, not stitching or applied panels.

Can the wires be lengthened for a higher ceiling?
Yes. Tell us the drop you need before you order and we will make the suspension wires longer than the standard height given in the specifications.
