A single cone of metal and nothing else. It sends its light down onto whatever sits beneath it and leaves the rest of the room quiet. No pattern, no ornament, nothing competing for attention. One clean form, doing one job.

A cone that hangs from a narrow waist

  • Funnel neck — the neck tapers downward to a narrow waist, and the cone flares out from there.
  • Steep cone — the sides fall away sharply, so this reads as a proper cone rather than a shallow dish.
  • Open base — no diffuser, lens or shield sits under the mouth, so the bulb stays in plain view.
  • Shallow canopy — a low round disc covers the fixing point, with two small fasteners on its face.

Satin metal, and a join left on show

Every finish here is satin or matte, never a mirror — the cone holds light in soft bands, not hard reflections. The neck and the cone meet at the waist in one crisp line.
