• Black metal fittings — a slim cord runs into a cylindrical socket cover at the top of each shade.
• A white diffuser disc — set just inside the open base, it covers the source and spreads the light into the glass.

What's the difference between Solo, Duo and Trio?
Solo is one shade on a round canopy. Duo is two shades, each on its own canopy. Trio gathers three shades in line, hung level, under one linear bar.

What is the white disc at the bottom of the shade?
That is the diffuser. You see it plainly when the light is off; switched on, it softens the glow.

Does the glass look black when it is switched off?
No. Unlit it reads as a mirrored grey and stays semi-transparent, so the disc shows through. It darkens once the light is on.
