Hang this where a child looks up last thing before sleep. A whole park is embroidered across the cotton panels — a boy reaching for a red ball, a girl mid-cheer, a small animal running past a tree. Lit, the panels warm to a soft gold.

A sphere built from seamed cotton panels

Each panel is seamed edge to edge and bound along its length with a strip of matching cotton tape, visible from crown to base in the close-ups. The scene is embroidered straight onto the woven cloth in flat satin stitch, dark green for the tree canopies and one of them flecked with white dots. At the base the panels draw in around a round opening.

Fit and placement
