Most table lamps hide the bulb. This one makes it part of the design.
A dome of glass sits on a brushed aluminium cone, and because the glass is transparent rather than frosted, the filament inside stays visible from every angle. Clear glass gives a bright, architectural read; cognac warms everything it touches and softens the bulb into a glow. The cone underneath is spun metal with a fine brushed grain that catches light along its slope. It is a console and bedside lamp — half of what it does is light the room, half is being worth looking at while it does.
