• An arch that clears the glass — it rises from the stem, passes outside the sphere, then closes in a slim band under its widest point.
• A rigid stem, not a cord — a solid rod from a round, flat canopy, so it hangs plumb instead of swinging on a flex.
• A capped crown — the stem lands on a small flat disc on top of the glass, so the join is shown rather than hidden.

The arch is finer than the stem that carries it

The two members are not the same gauge. The arch legs are drawn thinner than the stem they spring from. That way the frame outlines the sphere without ever competing with it. Follow either leg to its end: it runs past the band and stops in a small squared foot, not a cut-off tube.

Fit and placement

Above a dining table, a kitchen island or a breakfast nook, it does the job it was drawn for. It holds the surface without blocking the sightline across it. Measure your ceiling against the dimensions in the specifications before you order.

Yes, slightly. The arch stands outside the sphere, so work to the figure in the specifications rather than to the globe.

Which colour temperature should I choose?
Match whatever is already lighting the room. Mixing warm and cool in one space is the thing people notice but cannot name. Where people are eating, take the warmest of the three.
