A paper lantern that never looks fussy. Ribbed white paper glows evenly instead of throwing one hard beam. Hang it low over a table and the light does the flattering, not the bulb.

Two shades stacked on a black ring

  • Two-part shade — a rounded or cylindrical upper over a shallow dome, joined by a black waist ring.
  • Silhouette shifts by size — on the largest, the upper oval overhangs the dome.
  • Ribbed paper — close horizontal ribbing rings both shades, and stays legible when lit.
  • Open lower rim — nothing closes the base of the dome, so light drops straight through.

The paper is stretched over a frame, so the ribbing is structure, not print. Light it and the frame reads through as fine vertical seams. A matching ring caps the top, where the cable enters.

Fit and placement

It plugs into a wall socket and hangs on a black cord. That cord runs over two small black hooks — one at the ceiling, one on the wall. Bent over both, it carries the shade away from the ceiling point and over your table. An inline push-button switch turns it on.

Which size should I choose?
JH5 is the largest and tallest, and its upper oval is wider than the dome below. JH3 is the narrow cylinder, good over a console. JH4 and JH6 share one width in two heights.

Can I hang several together?
Yes. A cylinder beside the two ovals reads as one group. Stagger the drops and hang the largest lowest.

Is it suitable for a bathroom or a covered porch?
No. The moisture rating in the specifications covers dry indoor rooms. Keep it away from damp.
