• Brass stud — A small brass dot sits near the top of the lens, the only mark on its face.

The body is alabaster marble. The veining is faint and irregular, and the surface is worked smooth rather than polished to a shine. Brass-finish metal handles the backplate and the stud — a warm counterpoint to the pale stone.
