About the DC motor

The variable-frequency DC motor design supports reverse rotation, which matters year-round: push warm air back down from the ceiling in winter, draw heat away in summer — and do both quietly. DC motors run at a fraction of the noise of comparable AC motors.

About the fabric shade

The shade pattern is a printed design on the fabric — not woven or embossed. It's intentional: the print adds visual depth and warmth without adding weight.

Integrated LED and ongoing support

Frequently asked questions

Will a standard wall switch work?
No. Standard home switches aren't compatible with this fan's receiver. For wall-mounted control, the dedicated wireless wall switch is available separately — the handheld remote is included with every order.

Is the shade pattern real texture or printed?
It's printed. The decorative pattern is applied to the fabric surface rather than woven or embossed in — it gives the shade visual depth and character without adding weight.

Can I order a flush-mount version?
Yes. After your order is placed, send your order number to info@clerachic.com and we'll arrange the flush-mount installation without the suspension rod.

Does the motor run in reverse?
Yes. The variable-frequency DC motor supports both directions. Reverse is useful in winter to bring warm air that's settled near the ceiling back down into the living space.
