Magma Pendant Light, Natural Alabaster Disc In A Black Ring
Inside the Magma's matte black aluminium-and-steel ring sits a single disc of alabaster, cut thin enough that light doesn't simply shine out of it — it has to pass through the stone's own natural veining first, so what lands on your ceiling and table is a warm, softly uneven glow rather than a flat beam. Hung at 20" (51 cm) across, it sits low and self-assured above a dining table or kitchen island, the dark ring giving the pale stone a surface to glow against.

No two discs are alike
Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining and pattern running through your disc won't match the one shown in these photos exactly — every piece is its own. That variation is the character of the material, not an inconsistency.
Installation
Fitting the Magma is a ceiling job wired to a push-button switch. Bring in an electrician, or wire it in yourself if basic wiring is something you're comfortable with — it's a straightforward job.

Does the Magma dim?
That comes down to the bulb — the push-button switch on its own isn't a dimmer, and the bulb it ships with doesn't dim either. Swap in a dimmable G9 bulb and the fixture will dim right along with it.
Can the cable be extended?
Yes. It comes with 150 cm (59") of cable as standard, and we're happy to lengthen it on request — just reach out at info@clerachic.com before you place your order.
Will my disc match the photos exactly?
Close, but not identical — alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining and pattern in your disc will vary a little from what's pictured. Each one is genuinely one of a kind.
