Details

A single point of light that reads like cut crystal, without the ceremony. Its fluted shade catches every angle, and scatters warmth the moment you switch it on. Hang it where one small light has to do all the work. Quiet, considered, done in one gesture.

A ribbed bell that narrows to a slim cone

  • Vertical ribs — they run the full height of the shade and catch the light along every edge.
  • Tapered neck — a slim cone narrows the wide shade back up to the cable.
  • Scalloped rim — the ribs finish in a small, even wave around the open base.
  • Bulb high in the throat — the holder sits just under the neck, so the light fans downward.

Four colours, one shape

White is opaque, so the ribs stay solid and the glow stays soft. Clear and amber are transparent, and the lit core reads straight through the ribbing. Smoke grey is tinted and mirror-bright, and holds its own as a darker shape on a pale wall. In daylight the ribs break the light into small flecks of colour.

Fit and placement

This is a ceiling fixture, so book a qualified electrician for the fitting — see the wiring row in the specifications. It hangs from a shallow round canopy in dark bronze, on the cable listed below. Hang one low beside a bed, or run three in a line above a dining table.

It takes the base listed in the specifications. Choose a warm lamp; a transparent shade carries the colour of the bulb inside it.

Where does the light fall?
The base is open, so most of the light drops straight onto the surface below. The ribs carry a softer glow outward.

Can I use it above a kitchen sink or in a bathroom?
No — keep it to dry rooms. The moisture rating in the specifications rules out anywhere it could be splashed.
