Picture a tall column of pleated paper, ridge after ridge from collar to base. This pendant turns a plain paper shade into a quiet piece of sculpture. Lit, the paper warms and each fold catches the glow at its own angle. A calm presence for a stairwell, hallway or dining corner.

Accordion pleats that end in points, not curves

  • Pointed folds — every pleat ends in a sharp horizontal point, so the silhouette reads as a faceted zigzag rather than a smooth cylinder.
  • Flat collar and base — a flat disc closes the top, the base is cut straight across, and a slim ring holds the lower opening.
  • Visible paper grain — creases, fibre texture and fine seam lines show through the surface, and read more clearly once the bulb is on.
  • Two lengths, one diameter — the compact drop and the long column share the same width, listed in the specifications.

Paper and metal, and a warm core of light

The shade is built from paper and metal, and it hangs from a slim cord. Light it and the paper glows warmest where the bulb sits, softening row by row towards the collar and the base. That gradient is the point: a bright core reading through the folds, not a flat panel of light. Switch it off and the column reads as pale sculpture against the wall.
