You want the corner to feel gentler, not brighter. This pendant opens like a flower above a table, its panels drawn with roses and cut into soft scallops. Sit under it with a book and the room goes quiet. It is the kind of light you notice slowly.

A scalloped dome of petal-cut panels, drawn with roses

  • Rose-and-leaf sprigs — fine line drawings run across the panels, the same few motifs turned and mirrored around the dome.
  • Petal-cut panels — every panel narrows to a soft point, so the lower edge breaks into scallops rather than a straight ring.
  • A bent wood arc — a grained wooden loop bridges the open underside, warm against the pale shade.
  • A braided cord at the crown — a cream cord finishes the opening where the shade meets the glossy brown cap.

Fabric drawn over a shaped frame

Cloth is pulled tight across each rib of the dome. That is why the surface holds a faint moiré ripple, shifting as you walk past. The weave is fine and open enough for daylight to read through it. The sprigs sit in thin ink, light enough that the threads still show underneath.

Fit and placement

It fixes to a ceiling point overhead, so have an electrician make the connection. Hang it low over a round table or a reading chair, close enough to see the drawings. In a stairwell, set it higher and take the height from the cable listed in the specifications.
