A full moon over your table, cut into overlapping lobes. It makes a bare ceiling point worth looking at. Lit, the whole sphere lifts. Unlit, it settles back to a plain matte ball against the wall.

A sphere left open at the crown and at the base

  • A diffuser, not a downlight — light leaves on every side of the shade, and openly through the round opening at the base.
  • A grip at the crown — a ribbed cord grip stands proud in a round opening at the top, the ring inside in plain view.
  • The colour is the bulb's — the same shade reads cool white under one bulb and warm gold under another.

Panels that lap rather than meet

The panels do not sit edge to edge. Each one laps over its neighbour, and the recess between them runs as a shadow channel from crown to base. Switched off, the sphere still reads as discrete lobes rather than a smooth ball. That segmented silhouette is the signature here.

Fit and placement

Installation is a job for a qualified electrician. It hangs from a white ceiling canopy, and the cable length is listed in the specifications. Hang it where you see it from more than one side; the lobed profile reads from every angle.
