Come home to a room that glows instead of glares. This shade hangs wider than it is tall, so the light spreads across the table below. The fabric softens the bulb held inside it. This is the fixture that makes a dining room feel finished, not just lit.

A white fabric shade with a scalloped hem

  • Seam lines — a slim grey line traces every seam from the top of the shade to the hem.
  • Scalloped hem — the lower edge rises and dips in a continuous wave all the way round.
  • Flush canopy — a small round plate covers the ceiling fixing.
  • One slim cable — a single thin cable carries the shade, keeping the fixture visually light above a table.

The shade is the whole fixture

There is no visible hardware between the ceiling plate and the shade. The fabric spreads the bulb into soft, diffused light, and the seam lines stay legible as fine grey curves once it is on. Against pale plaster the shade reads quietly. Against dark timber panelling it becomes the brightest thing in the room.

Fit and placement

The fixture fixes to the ceiling and sits flush on its small round canopy. Set the drop you want before you fix the canopy in place. It suits a dining table, a bedroom, or a quiet corner of seating.
