A pendant that reads like a flower caught mid-opening. The panels swell outward, then break into a scalloped hem that turns back like petals. Switched off, it holds its shape as sculpture. Switched on, it turns warm and lantern-like, and the room softens with it.

  • Ribs under the skin — each frame rib reads as a fine dark line through the shade, dividing it into lobes that swell at the widest point.
  • Scalloped hem — the lower edge breaks into overlapping petal points, and the same wave repeats around the top.
  • A collar at the crown — the panels fold loosely down to a small collar where the slim stem enters.
  • An open ring underneath — the centre of the hem stands open, so a brighter pool of light falls straight down.

Drifting fibre and hairline creases, visible up close

Up close the shade is a fine, matt membrane. Fibre strands and hairline crease marks drift across it. Each lobe hangs slack rather than drum-tight, so light catches unevenly across the shade. Once the bulbs are on it goes amber, and those fibres come forward as darker lines against the glow.

Fit and placement

Have an electrician make the connection; the wiring is listed in the specifications. The cable is set to length at installation. Hang the hem clear of eye level over a round dining table, above a bed, or in a stairwell.
