Fine seam lines and a faintly uneven surface

Unlit, the shade reads as a pale disc traced with fine dark seam lines. Up close the surface carries a faint, uneven grain rather than a flat, even face. The panels are narrow and evenly spaced, so the curve stays smooth right round the widest point.
