A rounded shade gathered into a pleated hem

  • Fluted surface — fine vertical ribs run the full height of the acrylic, catching light in soft stripes rather than one flat wash.
  • Gathered hem — the shade draws in at the base into a pleated, scalloped edge, like a drawstring pulled shut.
  • Turned wood cap — a rounded wooden dome seats over the top of the shade and carries the cord.
  • Braided cord — a woven textile cord drops from a round wood ceiling plate finished to match the cap.

Wood over white acrylic

The cap is a small turned dome, its grain showing against the plain white acrylic below. Unlit, the pendant reads as a quiet sculptural object. Switched on, the ribbing breaks the light into soft vertical bands instead of one bright point.

A straightforward fit at the ceiling point

Have an electrician fit it, or install it yourself if you are comfortable with basic wiring. It runs on a standard wall switch, sold separately.
