Plant a handful together and the bed reads as if it were lit from within. Soft, warm points rise out of the greenery like reeds. Nothing glares — it is a quiet cluster of light to walk home by.

Slender stems, each tipped with a lit tube

  • Angled, not upright — set the stems off vertical and the group stops reading as a row of markers.
  • A warm-toned collar — a metal band sits between the dark stem and the frosted tube.
  • One soft column of light — the tube diffuses the LED behind it, so no bulb shows.
  • A rod, not a post — the stem is no wider than the tube it carries.

A flat panel sits partway down the solar stem

On the solar version a small rectangular plate is fixed to the rod below the light, face turned up. It is the same dark tone as the rod itself. From the collar down the rod runs unbroken.

Each stem ends in a point

Nothing wider than the rod goes into the ground. The solar version needs nothing run out to it. The hardwired version wants the low-voltage supply listed in the specifications, which an electrician can add if the bed has none.
