Some pendants only glow. This one is folded. Under the outer shade sits a second pleated layer, its edge rising and falling rather than closing in a flat circle. Hang it over a table and the outline changes as you move around it.

Pleated top to hem

  • A brighter inner face — light from inside catches the lower layer, warming it against the grey outer face.
  • A gathered crown — the pleats close into a narrow cap where the cable enters the shade.
  • Light through the surface — the shade glows softly from within, so the pleats read as light and shadow.

Fine folds, set close together

From across the room the folds read as one soft, ribbed surface. Step closer and each one resolves — a narrow ridge, a shadow, then the next. The surface carries a fine, speckled grain, so it never flattens into a single plane.

Hung singly or in a staggered group

Hang one over a bedside table or a reading corner. Two or three at staggered heights read as one piece above a long table. The fixture is hardwired, so ask an electrician to wire it in, or do it yourself if basic wiring is familiar ground.
