Picture a tray of pastel macarons scaled up and wired for light. Two solid colours meet at a pale disc. It brings colour to a plain ceiling without adding bulk. Hang one on its own, or run a few down a line.

Two shells, parted by a lit disc

  • A disc between the halves — it is held clear of both shells, so a band of light escapes right around the middle.
  • Open at the top — the cable drops in through the upper shell, and the inside of it catches the light.
  • Open at the base — nothing covers the bottom rim, so light falls straight onto the surface below.
  • Two colours, one fitting — one shade sits above the disc, the other below it.

Matte metal, and a shape that changes with the size

The small size pairs a straight-sided cup with a drum that tapers to its rim. Medium and large go curved on both halves — a bowl above the disc, a rounded dome beneath it. Every shell is finished in a flat matte colour, so the outline reads clean from across the room.

Fit and placement

It fixes to the ceiling on a round canopy and hangs from a single cable. Set the drop as you fit it, so the shade sits where you want the light. It is made for indoor rooms.
