A wall light that swings out is useful. One that swings out on a piece of solid timber is furniture.
The arm here is a single curve of wood, cut so the grain follows the bend, carrying a shade built in two overlapping tiers. The tiers matter: the upper one caps the source completely and the lower one narrows the spill, so what reaches the wall is a defined downward wash rather than a halo. Walnut reads dark and warm against pale plaster; natural oak almost disappears into it. Three light tones, chosen at checkout.
