Some ceilings need a light that stays quiet. This one does. Its lobed fabric dome softens the light, so an evening feels calm rather than lit. It shapes the mood of a room without ever asking to be looked at.

A gathered fabric dome that closes on a dark wood knob

  • Lobed silhouette — Soft panels swell out and draw back in, giving the dome a rounded, petal-like profile.
  • Scalloped hem — Each panel finishes in a shallow scallop, so the underside ripples rather than ending on a flat rim.
  • Diffused light — Lit, the glow spreads across the whole dome, and the overlapping lobes give it depth.
  • Matching canopy — The dark canopy repeats that same scalloped edge where the dome meets the ceiling.

Unlit it reads as ivory, lit it turns luminous

The seams run clean from the canopy down to the knob, where the panels draw into soft radiating folds. Unlit, the shade holds the ceiling as a solid ivory form. Lit, it warms through and those same seams show as fine lines across the glow. It holds a room in daylight as readily as after dark.

Fit and placement
