Floral Ceramic Pendant Light for Bedside, Iron Stem

A ceramic shade that opens like a flower caught mid-bloom. If a room has a bare bulb and nothing to soften it, this is the answer. The shape carries a corner on its own, lit or not. It gives the place a quiet French character.

A shade shaped like an open bloom

• Fluted ribs — Fine vertical ribs run from the neck out to the rim, catching the light along each groove.
• Wavy rim — The edge lifts and dips in soft, uneven waves, like petals loosely spread.
• Matt surface — The surface is matt rather than glossy, so the ribs read as texture instead of shine.
• Warm wash — Lit, it drops a warm pool below the shade and washes the wall behind it.

A flat cap, a ball or a turned wood handle

The fitting sits where the cord meets the neck of the shade, and it sets the tone of the whole piece. Flat is a short black cap on a plain line. Ball-shaped sets a round black knob between cord and shade. Handle-shaped hangs from a turned dark wood grip in a gold-toned collar, with a small lever on its side.

Fit and placement

This pendant wires into the ceiling, so book a qualified electrician for the connection. It suits a dining table, a reading corner or a hallway.

Frequently asked questions

Can you see the bulb from underneath?
Yes. The bowl is open below, so the lamp shows through — a frosted globe keeps that soft.

How do I clean the fluting?
Run a dry, soft brush down the grooves. They are shallow and open, so the dust lifts straight out.

Which fitting is the most discreet?
Flat. It sits tight to the cord and leaves the shade to carry the room.
