Olivia Ceramic Wall Sconce, Cascading Lotus-Petal Design, G4 Bulb

Hand-formed ceramic petals cascade down a slender metal spine on this wall lamp, each one catching and bouncing the glow of the bulb it wraps around. The overall effect reads more like a lotus flower opening against your wall than a traditional sconce — sculptural in daylight, and warm and layered once the bulb is switched on and the light starts moving across each ceramic petal and the metal fixture behind it. It's a quiet, artistic statement piece rather than a workhorse light, suited to a bedroom wall or a living room where you want something to look at as much as something to light the room.

Features

• Cascading ceramic petals — hand-formed ceramic pieces stack down a metal spine, building real dimension rather than sitting flat against the wall.
• Warm reflective glow — light bounces off the metal fixture and the ceramic surfaces together, so the lamp glows from within rather than throwing a single hard beam.
• Ceramic and metal construction — a ceramic shade on a metal frame gives it real weight and a tactile, handmade feel.

Because the petals are ceramic rather than fabric or glass, the light they cast has a soft, slightly diffused quality with a bit of texture in the shadows — closer to candlelight in character than a flat, even wash. Mount it beside a bed as an alternative to a bedside lamp, or use it as an accent piece in a living room where a single striking fixture does more work than a row of matching ones.

A note on bulbs and installation

This lamp ships without bulbs, so you'll need to add your own G4 bi-pin bulbs — LED, incandescent, or fluorescent all work, which gives you flexibility on brightness and colour temperature. It's a hardwired fixture, so have an electrician fit it, or install it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wiring — it's a straightforward job. It connects to a standard wall switch rather than needing anything special.

Frequently asked questions

Do bulbs come included?
No — this fixture ships without bulbs. It takes G4 bi-pin bulbs in LED, incandescent, or fluorescent, so you can choose the brightness and warmth that suits your room.

Can I dim this light?
It depends on the bulb and switch you pair it with — the fixture itself has no built-in dimming, so choose a dimmable G4 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch if that's what you're after.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No — it's rated IP20 for indoor use only, so keep it in dry rooms like a bedroom or living room rather than a bathroom.

How many petals does the design have?
The cascade is made up of multiple hand-formed ceramic petals stacked down the metal spine — see the product photos for the exact arrangement, since each piece is finished by hand.
