Open Ceramic Pendant Light for Reading Nook, 1-Light Tea-Cup

This ceramic pendant light is a plain white tea-cup turned open at the base, so light falls through as well as out. You add the compact lamp. Hang it over a desk, beside a bed, or in a reading corner.

White ceramic tea-cup, open base.

• Open-base cup — The cup is open underneath, so the wash is not a hard pool on the desk.
• Plain white glaze — No blue rim, no colour glaze — the quiet ceramic of the four cups.
• Desk or bedside — A close pendant light on an adjustable chain.

Hand-finished ceramic will vary a little.

Expect a small shift in glaze from the photograph. This is the plain white open-base cup, not the blue-rim bedside cup, not the five-glaze gloss teacup, and not the rustic green-glaze cup.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the blue-rim bedside cup?
No. This tea-cup is plain white with an open base.

Does a lamp ship with it?
No. You add one compact lamp that fits the holder.

Why is the base open?
So the wash falls through the cup instead of stopping at a closed dome.
