Petalo Ceiling Fan Light With Six Petal-Shaped Wood Blades and DC Motor

Six blades shaped like opening petals — the Petalo ceiling fan is the kind of fixture that draws a second look before anyone asks whether the room is comfortable. Curved wooden blades in a light wood-grain finish radiate outward from a cool-grey body, and behind that form is a pure-copper DC motor that turns quietly and efficiently, with an integrated LED that handles the room's lighting too.

What sets it apart

• Variable-frequency DC motor — pure copper windings, whisper-quiet operation, and noticeably lower energy use compared to a standard AC fan. Rated for years of continuous use.
• Sculptural petal blades — six curved wooden blades, each shaped after an unfurling flower petal. A centrepiece that earns its place on the ceiling.
• Integrated LED lighting — colour temperature is selectable from the handheld remote, so you can dial in the right tone for the room without changing a bulb.

Available sizes

Two sizes, both drawing roughly 60W at full power.

Light colour temperature

Warm White (3000K) ships as standard with every order — the warmest, most relaxing tone, ready to use out of the box. Neutral White (4000K) and Cool White (6000K) are both available to order; email info@clerachic.com before placing your order if you have a preference.

Installation notes

• Hardwired ceiling installation — if you're not experienced with ceiling wiring, a licensed electrician is the right call.
• Fit the blade gaskets before tightening. Each gasket needs to be seated and secured on the blade before you tighten it to the motor. Skipping this can damage the copper windings and affect the warranty.
• This fan is compatible only with the wireless wall switch designed for it. Standard domestic wall switches will not work with this receiver.
• For indoor use only — not suitable for bathrooms or any damp location.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a standard wall switch with the Petalo fan?
No. A standard switch isn't compatible with this fan's receiver. For wall-mounted control, the dedicated wireless wall switch is available separately. The handheld remote is included with every order.

How quiet does it run?
Very quiet. The pure-copper DC motor produces minimal mechanical noise — what you hear at speed is airflow, not the motor. DC motors are considerably quieter than standard AC motors at equivalent output.

Does it run in reverse?
Yes. The variable-frequency DC motor supports both forward and reverse rotation. In summer, use forward rotation to direct cool air down into the room; in winter, reverse it to push warm air that's collected near the ceiling back down.

What colour temperatures are available?
Three: Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4000K) and Cool White (6000K). All three are switchable from the handheld remote.

Which body finishes can I choose?
Six: Wood Grain, Colourful, Black, Green, White and Grey. Every version ships with a white acrylic shade.
