Up-Down Aluminum Outdoor Sconce, LED Wall Light With Shadow Effect

Some sconces just push out light; this one draws with it. The aluminum housing directs a fixed LED beam both upward and downward at once, so a blank exterior wall picks up two overlapping pools of glow and shadow instead of one flat wash — the kind of layered look you'd normally need two separate fixtures to fake. Solid aluminum construction and a shaped optical lens keep each beam crisp rather than a soft blur, and a warm 3000K color temperature keeps the whole effect inviting instead of stark.

Why it works

• Dual-direction beam — light spreads above and below the fixture at the same time, building the layered light-and-shadow pattern that gives a plain wall real depth after dark.
• Optical lens shaping — the lens inside the aluminum housing focuses and directs each beam cleanly, rather than letting the light spill and scatter.
• IP65 sealed — rated to handle rain and damp exterior conditions without dimming or corroding over time.

Choosing a beam pattern

The shape of the shadow is the whole point here, so this fixture comes in three distinct beam patterns rather than one fixed look — pick whichever fits how you want the wall to read at night. It's a hardwired fixture rated for AC 85–265V: have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring yourself, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wiring — it's a straightforward job.Available beam patterns

Frequently asked questions

What's actually different between the 5-beam, 7-beam, and asymmetrical options?
Each uses the same housing and lens but shapes the beam into a different ray count and pattern, so the shadow effect on your wall changes — 5- and 7-beam give symmetrical ray patterns, asymmetrical gives an uneven, freeform spread.

Is the color temperature adjustable?
No — it's a fixed warm white 3000K LED, chosen to keep the shadow effect warm and inviting rather than stark.

Can I install several to line a wall or driveway?
Yes — each fixture covers roughly 54–108 sq ft (5–10 sq m), so spacing several along a wall or boundary is a normal setup for continuous coverage.
